  1. I remember when this came out. I couldn’t get over it. Orbison! Harrison! Dylan! Ffs! They kinda flew under the radar. This is the band, ever.

  2. Such talent that grew old and mellowed like a beautiful bottle of shiraz.
Oh and that voice of the BIG O
Now im 2019 i feel the golden age of pop music has died in the arse

  3. Even in that company, Orbison is just an awesome voice. He could have lived and sung until he was 150 and he'd still have been gone too soon.

  4. I have such memories of this track.. coming home from London between jobs…. back to my H!!!!!! She was so ecstatic I returned for 2 days before the next job started, she near jumped through the window when she saw me unexpectedly walking by the kitchen, in our balconied tower block in Northeast England, keys in hand…no phones in them days to call and warn ahead…. such teenage days, never to be replaced. I'm in my 50s now, but those days…. I was so happy

  5. It's a shame they didn't get together sooner. This was the best group ever. RIP Tom, George, Roy, you are missed….

  6. The TravelingWilburys bring me The comfort an the blessings we need God bless each and every one of them ESPECIALLY George Harrison. kisses and love to the world

  7. What I love is that all of these guys bands old fans came here to celbrate them, and I celebrate the new fans too!!!

  8. Thanks 😊 😊😘 n I love you so much BABY GIRL…n I love you so much baby GIRL WORLD WATCH OUT for the Devil 😈 😈👿 🌚☠️ 😎🤡 👿🌚 ☠️ SHE'S Gonna Get You From… ? ? Behind… ! !

  9. Surely any fan of any of these artists would acknowledge that this line up would epitomise a "SUPER GROUP".This was never for money, this was and is, a love for what they did, MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, THINK, DO, ?God rest those who have gone and guide those still doing their best to please us.

  10. Saw Jeff Lynne’s ELO in concert this year – he and Dhani Harrison performed this. It was bittersweet and awesome. RIP TP, GH and RO. We lost some great ones. Thank you Jeff for carrying on the legacy

  11. SO is the cloaked figure in the background the Grim Reaper staring at Roy, waiting for his soul?

1:36 makes the first appearance staring at Roy, then for 3 frames at 2:07, and again at 2:31 and 2:53.
The video starts with a shot over Roy's shoulder and no reaper in the frame. It makes a brief appearance at :20 before the song gets started. Pretty creepy. Never noticed before. He died shortly after making this video.

  12. For me it's still only a blink of an eye since this happened. Never before or since has such a group of legends been collected together successfully. The logical, usual result of such a gathering is something horrendous (see Englands football team, 1967 – present). This is in my smartphone, it was in my mp3 player, it was in my Walkman and it was played in my older cars on cassette. Whatever form portable music takes in my remaining years on this planet I will always have the Wilburys to hand. Take note millennials, this will never happen again!

  13. Tales handed down relate that in the early days of the Grand Old Opry, the big stars who had been on the stage would get together after the show and play together, often out in the parking lot, with just their acoustic guitars, looking a lot like these guys.

  14. As I sit here watching these fella's? the film, 'Back to the Future' comes to mind. The scene where Marty looks at the photo of him and his family and slowly he begins to fade away. Looking at these blokes here? you start to see 'who' are now not here! (I guess 'time' stands still for No-one eh). (:

  15. I was born in 1959, and my parents had some great records, but my favorite were the Roy Orbison’s. I sure wish I had those now!!

  16. OMG I can't stop crying how we will never hear music like this again by some of the best just having fun playing Ya this be one of the things thats wrong with this world now We Love you Guys "Wilburys" will be missed!!!!!!!!!!!!You All!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Harrison,Roy O",Petty and than theres Dylan man just relised the Great Buds Dylan has lost know Petty for one when they were Teens I believe will all be missed keep rocking Bob Dylan not forget Jeff L.to

  18. Watch over me , my darling devoted Son…Matthew loved the Traveling Wilburys…Noah and I miss you every second of every minute of every hour.

  19. I was the stage manager on this music video in October of 1988, 31 years ago. It was an extraordinary experience. Shot at the "Bingo building" (originally the Edison Electric Steam Power Plant )  in Los Angeles, California.

  20. I often wonder, just which 5 musicians of today (& still living) could re-form as a Travelling Wilbury's #2 & take it forward to new & old audiences/fans?

  21. I like Orbison alot . Never forget his song Pretty Woman . also like Harrison a lot and his superb slide guitar playing . Dylan was an asshole in his real , off stage life .

  22. How is it even remotely possible 2.9k can down thumb this? Even if you don’t like the song then the Wilburys are never going to be equalled or bettered in sheer talent and musical ability. Stunning.

  23. It was such a great concept, musicians whose careers spanned four decades. Someone from the 1950's, a former Beatle, a legend of protest folk music, a survivor of the Age of Disco, and a (then) contemporary artist. And to think three are gone now. 🙁

  24. What a great song. Legendary super group that was short lived. It was a gift of music. RIP Orbison & Harrison, and Petty.
