STAFF CANTEEN CHANGI AIRPORT- Changi Airport cheap food | Food and Travel Channel | Singapore

today is our very last day in Asia after almost four months it has been a blast we’re in Singapore at Changi Airport and today the vlog is going to be a little bit different so one of our most popular blog posts over on the website is the staff canteen at Changi Airport and how to get there and what you can find to eat there because a lot of people who arrive at Changi don’t want to be dropping a load of cash on those expensive airport restaurants so to get authentic local hawker style food, you head to the staff canteen there’s a staff canteen in Terminals 1 and Terminal 2 we’re in Terminal 1 because we hear that’s the better canteen so first thing to do to find it’s a little bit hidden when you’re in the departures hall which is where we are right now if you are standing with your back to the road you go to the far right-hand corner of the terminal and that’s where you’ll see the sign to the staff canteen it’s that blue sign over there behind the AirAsia counters the reason we came here the first time was because we had a sort of three to four-hour transit and we didn’t want to eat the expensive food airside so we just popped through customs and came down here easy. The staff canteen is just like any other hawker centre in Singapore. There’s a range of different vendors selling different types of foods, so there’s Chinese Malay, Indonesian, Indian, there’s just a range of food to choose from. There’s a staff price there’s a public price and you’re looking at paying about $5 US dollars for a meal, including a drink. It’s super cheap and really really authentic and that’s the staff canteen at terminal one we had mixed stuff on rice we had wonton noodles we had some turnip cake we had drinks. So good all of it and an absolute bargain. $15 Singapore dollars so that’s maybe about$12USD for all of that food. Local, authentic get to the staff canteen. Totally ,we now have a flight to Melbourne so we’ve been in Asia for four months vlogging our way through Asia we’re now heading to Melbourne for a quick appointment and then we have a flight to South America and we’re going to be vlogging our way all through South and Central America so remember to subscribe so you don’t miss out on new videos

My 'Chasing a Plate' marathon has sadly come to an end. I've spent all weekend watching ALL your videos. The food looks amazing, but I think you guys have that extra edge over other food vloggers with the whole production 😍 You guys should really be on TV with those faces and voices!! I'm not just saying this because I'm a Kiwi πŸ˜‚

I can't wait for you guys to do more videos (fingers crossed the Pacific is next on your list πŸ˜‰). Also love that you guys take the time to research the location and pronuncuation of place and food names. Very informative πŸ‘ You guys should have more subscribers.

    Love your work guys.
    A new fan here! 😁

p.s. I made sure to have snacks on hand whilst watching πŸ˜‚
