Chicago. In this video we will be showing you the Skydeck
on Willis Tower. We’ll show you how to get there by public
transportation, and suggest things to see while on your visit The Skydeck is located in Willis Tower formerly
known as Sears Tower Willis Tower is located on 233 S. Wacker Dr. The entrance to the Skydeck is on Jackson Blvd. By Public Transportation take the CTA “L”
Train Take the “L” Pink, Brown, Orange, or Purple
Express Train Line to Quincy Station Exit at Quincy station and walk on West Quincy
St. towards the Tower Make a left on South Franklin St towards the
Tower Then make a right on W. Jackson Blvd to the
entrance of the Willis Tower. The main entrance to the Skydeck is on Jackson
between Wacker and Franklin For additional directions, go to the Skydeck’s
website Ticket prices will vary depending on the options
you choose. Go to the Skydeck website for details. You can purchase tickets at the ticket counter
when you arrive, or purchase your ticket online for a discount and save time during your visit If you are planning to attend 3 or more attractions
in the Chicago area, consider buying a CityPass or a Go Chicago card by Smart Destinations Willis Tower is a 110-story antennae, and
residential/ commercial building in the heart of downtown Chicago The Skydeck is the observation deck located
on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower. Visitors take an elevator to the Skydeck visitor
center which features museum-quality interactive exhibits. From there, visitors take another elevator
to the top in about 60 seconds From the Skydeck, visitors are gifted with
an expansive view across Lake Michigan. On a clear day, you can see four states – Illinois,
Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan. Visibility from the Skydeck is approximately
40-50 miles (65 – 80 kilometers). While at the Skydeck don’t miss ” The Ledge”
The Ledge is a series of enclosed glass balconies with glass floors
Which is 1,353 feet above the ground. The balconies are made from three layers of
half-inch thick glass laminated into one seamless unit. The Ledge is included in your ticket price but there is usually a line to get on it. This attraction can take 2 or more hours depending
