Ātaahua Models hit New Zealand Fashion Week


In almost a year, Ataahua Models has become
a household name in the Maori fashion community and slowly building
a reputation overseas. Yet today will be the first time the agency will showcase
their models at NZFW. Reporter Te Rina Kowhai caught up
with some of the models and 25-year-old
co-founder Niketa Brown. Ataahua Models represent at NZFW. There is no question that the agency
is in hot demand. In almost a year, they now have 52 models
on their books. Ataahua Co-Founder says it’s about finding
the beauty within. All but two models are of Maori
descent. One of them from Zimbabwe, who has booked the biggest gig
walking for Zambesi. He says he wouldn’t be here
if it wasn’t for Ataahua Models. No doubt, the success
